Rose of Jericho

Rose of Jericho

The Rose of Jericho (genus:anastatica),  may appear delicate, but the plant itself is anything but. This desert bloom is also often referred to as a resurrection plant, for its famous ability to survive for years without water in some of the harshest conditions found on earth. When deprived of water, it curls inward, and dries up into a tiny brown tumbleweed.  But when given even the smallest amount of water, it blooms into a beautiful lush green plant, composed of small delicate feathery spirals.

Is the Rose of Jericho curling inward to prepare for drought, or is it opening to accept abundance? Only you know which. Celebrate both of these survival skills with jewelry from our Rose of Jericho collection, because the Rose of Jericho is equal parts tough and beautiful, just like you.
